Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name or date of birth in a sponsored search box, the information is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and returns results under its own terms. This site does not maintain an official Lavaca County warrant database or a log of the search terms submitted through those partner boxes.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you contact the site by email, the message and the address used to send it may be retained so a reply can be prepared. We limit access to those messages to people handling the inquiry and disclose them outside the organization only where required by law or needed to operate the service.
Data We Gather Automatically
A page request may generate technical information used to deliver and maintain this site, including:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files that a site or its service providers may store in a browser. Analytics tools can use them to summarize which pages receive visits and where technical problems occur. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although a preference may affect how a feature works.
What We Do With This Data
- Delivering pages and diagnosing site errors
- Passing sponsored-search entries to the provider selected by the visitor
- Measuring general site traffic and page performance
- Displaying advertising and managing referrals
- Responding to messages sent to the site
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not publish, maintain, or sell an official Lavaca County warrant file or a database of individual warrant records. The Sheriff’s Office, District Clerk, County Clerk, justice courts, and municipal courts maintain different law-enforcement or judicial records. A public-information request to a government body is governed by the Texas Public Information Act in Chapter 552 of the Government Code, while court records are ordinarily requested from the clerk or court that keeps the file. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled here into consumer reports.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search tools displayed on these pages are supplied by outside companies. A name or other detail entered into a tool is handled under that company’s privacy notice, which controls its retention and sharing practices. This site does not control those systems. Review the provider’s terms before submitting personal information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Lavaca County office pages, city court portals, Texas agencies, legal resources, or commercial search services. Once a visitor opens another site, its privacy policy and security practices apply. County law-enforcement records and court files remain with their respective custodians; this site does not receive a warrant-status response from those offices.
Advertising or analytics partners may use their own technologies to measure campaigns or select advertising. Their data practices are controlled by those providers.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data collected directly by this site. Information may be processed by:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and organizational steps are used to protect information handled by the site. Online systems still carry risk, and no method of transmission or storage can be promised completely secure.
Users Under 18
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor has sent information directly to the site, use the contact route on the Contact page and the request will be reviewed.
Your Data Rights
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Business and Commerce Code Chapter 541, may provide rights to Texas residents when the law applies to the business and processing involved. Its scope, exemptions, and exceptions matter; it does not promise the same rights for every kind of data or organization. A person may have a right to:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this privacy policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The revised text will appear here with a new effective date; review this page periodically for the current version.
